FIRST Lego League Practice Competition

Beach Cities Robotics is committed to assisting our JR. teams in our community. For instance, on October 29th we helped host a FIRST Lego League practice competition at Parras Middle School. The competition consisted of multiple components including presentation of the FLL core values, robot design, and their animal allies project. At the tournament, over 30 of our team members and 3 of our mentors volunteered as referees, judges, scorekeepers, score runners, announcers, general volunteers, and ran a snack bar. Our team also contributed with setting up, conducting the event, and cleaning up.  In addition to our contributions, some of our members helped mentor three Parras teams as stand in coaches.

Here are some photos of the event and the teams competing!
